Default Request for Auction Houses - LELANDS - anybody home?

When you have received a payment, could you please either update the invoice status on your customer's accounts page, or send an email letting us know?

I'm sure that all of you have some sort of flag you set, etc., in your software, when payment is received (either to let shipping know or begin a check hold count-down) - that event could easily be used to kick off a system-generated email.

Okay, to be more specific - has ANYONE received their winnings from the last Lelands auction (ended December 22)?

Does anyone have an email address for Lelands that works? The one listed on their website for contacting them is apparently not manned: info@lelands.com I left emails last week and early this week. Nada.

I do not like calling auction houses when they've ignored my emails. It's bad business practice on their end to ignore customers, and by that point I'm not in a good mood.

Anyone else having similar experiences with Lelands?

Did you receive any communication, or did it just show up on your doorstep one day?

So, if a payment by mail never arrived, it would just be deafening silence until the consignor finally asked for his check? Perhaps months?

They need a p.r. person.

Ha! When I checked January 14, it didn't say anything about paid or owed. Now it has an 'amount paid' field.

Thanks. It still doesn't excuse their ignoring my emails, but at least now I know they've received my payment.

Thanks, Chris, but they would laugh. I always look forward to participating in Lelands auctions, and I do; however, in checking through my records, I almost never win anything from them. I was surprised. I think it's because I'm sort of cheap and their items bring good money. But I was very happy with the last two things I won from them.

Funny this thread just popped up on my radar. I actually called them yesterday to see what the deal is since my account has been marked as fully paid for quite a while and nothing has ever arrived. I had sent a couple of emails that weren't responded to so I just decided to pick up the phone.

My items shipped yesterday.

Josh's dog has very good taste in cards and has seemingly deep pockets. Of course, he doesn't wear pants so I'm not certain where his pockets are -- but they're deep.

I took your advice and called. The woman I spoke with was very helpful and friendly, giving me a tracking number. I also got an email later from Josh, also very friendly and said there is a glitch with their tracking emails due to a carrier switch.

I'm very satisfied with the response.
