Default Could use some help identifying this Ty Cobb card

Hello everyone,

I picked up this Ty Cobb card, but can't find any information on it. Does anyone know the year, manufacturer, or value on it? There are no markings on it that help me in my investigation so I thought I would turn to the experts of Net54. Thank you!

It appears to be a 1921 Exhibit postcard that's had the white borders trimmed off.

Either that or a counterfeit made from a 1921; can't tell from a scan 100% but the front looks like a re-screen, though that could be a scanner thing.

PWCC would give it a HE sticker...

Ah, interesting. Exhibits does make sense as there were a few dozen Exhibit cards in the collection I purchased. This was the only one that looked like this. Now, the card stock on this is much thinner than normal Exhibit cards. It’s also approximately 2” X 3”, which is also much smaller than normal Exhibit cards.

I was thinking it was 1/4 of a 4 in one exhibit, which might explain the size, although 2 x 3 seems wrong.

The stock and size answers it: fake.
