Default T206 150 Series ... what are the tough back chances

Posted By: Chuck

I was thinking of removing these cards to check out the backs. If they are anything but the big three or four, I'll just glue them right back on as I love the display as it is.

Seems like earlier threads on this piece theorized that they are all 150 series so my question is should I even bother removing them.

Seems like a few months ago it was up for auction and there was some discussion about it. Does anyone remember? I thought the person in the middle was identified by someone.

Default T206 150 Series ... what are the tough back chances

That was my display that I sold on ebay. I picked it up last year sometime, but dont remember when. The guy in the middle was never identified besides his name written on the display...Dockstatter? There was a discussion about it here that I am sure could be found on the search function.

Charles Swartz was the kid who made this in 1909. The person who sold me the dispaly has a letter that the guy wrote in the 1960's describing the display and a little about his life. Unfortuantly, I was never able to obtain the letter.

Enjoy the Display Chuck! It should look nice hanging on the wall as a part of baseball card history.
