Default The Wes Parker Effect...

We are all amusedly familiar with this 1973 'Steve Garvey' card (he's in air quotes, because it is practically a Wes Parker card), where the real focus is Parker and his undoubtedly painful wedgie hogging the spotlight...

Well, on ebay I ran across some other cards from other sports that share the ole Wes Parker treatment and they made me chuckle...

Ignore the gargantuan linemen and look to the background towards the crowd. That head and foot waaaaay back there is Ray Guy...

And, I wonder if Jamaal Wilkes is muttering, "Hey, Wes, your last name is Unseld NOT Parker. Don't pull that crap on me!!!" Plus, I won't even mention the distraction of the basketball on its way to nowhere...

C'mon Topps, were these the best pics you had of these guys????!!!!

Post others if you got 'em.

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.
