I know it's not quite the Wagner. But his other item for sale is no joke either. That game is extremely rare. A childhood friend of mine had it, because he was in the national finals for the Nintendo competition one year.. I feel privileged just having gotten to play it a handful of times.. Two items of this magnitude from a brand new seller. I seriously doubt he has either of 'em..

For that kind of money I have the time to include more than one photo.

That's what I was talking about earlier. No joking. That thing's pretty much the video game equivalent of the Wagner... There were only 26 made, and only 13 whose whereabouts are currently known..The Nintendo Holy-Grail.

The gray competition versions sell anywhere between $5-10,000. The gold version can fetch well over $20,000.

I've luckily had the chance to play this, because a childhood friend(my aunt actually married his uncle, I don't know what that makes us though) was one of the finalists.. It was honestly kinda lame though, just timed snippet versions of a coupla different games that were spliced together.. But then again, I was 10 or 11, maybe he only had the gray, I don't quite remember

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintend..._Championships
There he is, listed as the Cleveland 11 and under champ..

I've luckily had the chance to play both versions, because a childhood friend was one of the finalists.. Unfortunately, I was 10 or 11 at the time. Had I known what they would be worth, I'd have gladly traded him a handful of Bo Jackson rookies for it..He was a big-time Bo fan, and I know he would have gone for it.. It was honestly kinda lame though, just timed snippet versions of a coupla different games that were spliced together..
Yeah, I got a buddy who collects NES games and Ive been hearing about that game for 2 years now - he says the same thing that its not really a cool game though b/c it is just the time snippets for competition - but no joke that its an expensive and rare item.

Looks like eBay took down the listing. It was never going to make it to the finish.

It's a different scan then the Goodwin auction and T206resource has no prior sales records for it. Interesting.

Technically speaking it is just as good as a piece of 1-7/16" x 2-5/8" cardboard that depicts a picture of a baseball player on one side with a tobacco ad on the other.

Thats exactly what my buddy replied to me when I questioned slabbed video games - to each their own!
