Default T206 Broadleaf 460 ?

Posted By: Trevor Hocking

Ok I have a question for all of those T206 nuts out there. In your opinion how rare are the Broadleaf 460 backs? How many have you owned or seen? Are they as rare as Drum, or rarer? What do you think would be the going price for a VG, VG-EX, or Ex copy of a common player on the market today? What have they brought at auction in those same conditions in the past 2 years?

Hey Trevor....do you have one for sale and you are just trying to pump it up?

The BL460 is definitely rarer than a Drum. I would say a VG to VG/EX example would clear $1,500. I have noticed Drums have come down considerably. I won a VG example on eBay last week for just over $500.

Hey Doug,
Actually I just pick one up in VG. I just wanted to see what people thought the value was, and how rare they are. I may want to sell but not just yet. I knew that they were rarer than the Drum but I didn't how much. In your opinion, if you have seen 100 Broadleaf backs how many were 460's? Please e-mail me I would love to talk to you off line.

Incidentally, there are two Broadleaf 460's on Ebay right now. They are exceptionally rare. I have seen Drums and Uzits much more frequently.

I would defer to Doug Allen and Art on this subject -- and am anxiously awaiting their book to expand on these issues.

As someone who is looking for Philadelphia Nationals rare back cards from the T206 set, I can tell you that I have seen no Philadelphia National T206 Broadleaf 460's for sale in the last two years. In that time, I have seen three Broadleaf 350's availably publically for sale.
