Is it just my bad eyes or does the lettering look suspiciously black and the borders suspiciously wide on this reprint, er, alleged reprint?

Even if the seller is not committing a fraud and is merely selling something he found, why on earth would he sell a card at 1% of its probable value without any research? I mean, if you are going to go for it, GO for it. . .

I did email the lucky guy of his great future of having reprints. Did you see the Cy Young, a red Old Mill back, what do you think a one of a kind, he might get a mill for that one.

I wonder if he would be interested in the Speaker portrait?

Let's hope these auctions disappear.

This is just a guess, but based on e-bay auctions I think there must be an old reprint set made in the '50s, and these goofs really think they have real cards. They don't look like cards from the "monster" reprint set, but the cards are too ludicrous to be forgeries. I also emailed the guy and thanked him for the entertainment value, also asked when we would see his Plank and Wagners on e-bay.
