Default Heritage Auctions Question

I won the 1952 Topps Willie Mays SGC 2 the other night from Heritage Auctions. I paid yesterday and wondered how quick their turnaround is. I know they say 7-14 days.

What have others experienced?

Thanks in advance.

Default mixed/depends

I've had various experiences with them, and it depends on a few things, like whether you're a brand-new bidder to their system and how you paid and whether they need to wait a whole week for a check to clear which they totally will for new bidders.

But in contrast I've actually had them put something in the post like the day after auction close, even before payment, I suppose once my account was established (and it wasn't a massively expensive item), and they sent an invoice with it suggesting quick payment in order to stay in their good graces for that level of trust in the future.

Lately I've used their new bank-linked e-check sort of feature, which seems to clear pretty fast, or else they trust it, so that the shipping confirmation usually comes within 2-3 days of confirming such a payment through their website.

and forgot to add to the above:

Also had the experience of winning a number of lots in a single auction and not hearing anything at all for several weeks after paying. When I finally called to inquire it was explained that they had sent one of my winnings back to the TPG to correct a mech error. So that's great they went through the trouble to do it so I wouldn't have to deal with it myself, but point is that they seem to be too large for individualized service, so if you suspect a problem, then you may as well be pro-active and make contact yourself rather than assuming they will contact you to explain.

(Once I expressed that I'd rather have my other ~20 items now rather than waiting what could have been several more weeks or months to receive them all together, they happily shipped out what was available and then later the mech error arrived on its own--[no extra shipping fee])
