Default Need some advice

Hi, very new to baseball autographs here and I had a question. If I am going to a signing and the player doesn't normally sign his jersey number along with his name, is i t worth spending extra money on an inscription to get his number?

I have seen plenty of autographs with and without number and am not sure if it really adds any value and if it's worth an extra 10 bucks or if having the name is plenty?

Thanks for you advice!

Most players don't typically charge to add their uniform number.
I would not pay extra for this, BTW....

Depends on who. I would think the jersey number would be considered an inscription and these days, most HOFers/today's stars charge for an inscription.

I don't think it adds any value to currently living players autographs. For deceased players like Mantle adding a '7' would likely be a premium.

Depending on the player I would consider something different than the Jersey #, if the player won an MVP, I would have him write just as an example "1982 NL MVP" I know when I buy autographs I really don't consider the Jersey # as an inscription,

Thanks for the responses. Based on this info I think I will save myself the extra 10 bucks for the uniform number and just get the normal autograph.

If I might ask one more question, the store the signing is at gives a COA for each item and also offers an accompanying hologram sticker. Is it generally worthwhile to apply the sticker from a store or are stickers only worth it if they are from well known entities?

Thanks again!

Personally, I'm not a fan of affixing a sticker to the item. Looks tacky IMO.
