Default ebay question- searching by decade....

can someone tell me how to search an entire decade? i used to be able to type sgc 191* and it would show entire decade. ebay says it doesn't recognize the asterisk any more, anyone know another way?

You can still search by year. For example, try this:

1. Go to www.ebay.com
2. In the search window at the top of the page, put baseball cards 192 and hit return
3. A list of auctions will appear. On the left side of the page, you will see "Year" with a bunch of years listed. At the bottom of that list, it says "Choose More". Go through and click the years that you want to search.

For your specific question this is the search:

sgc (1910, 1911, 1912, 1913, 1914, 1915, 1916, 1917, 1918, 1919)

Parenthesis around words separated by commas does an "any" word search for those particular words. So if any of the words, in this case the years, show up then those auctions are shown.

In this instance it would have found 90 more auctions than Brad's method since it shows that 90 auctions didn't specify a year outside their title.
