Couldn't they have put it in the holder horizontally and fit the whole card instead of cutting it and putting in like that? It would've looked so much better than way too.

FFS, that's wrong. Weird though, that it's a little narrow for a T201 and the autograph is cut off on one side. Maybe it's not actually a card?

Even if it's not a real T201 it should've been put int he holder horizontally to show the whole image. Just a lame design.

totally lame design...and if they did in fact destroy a t201 for this ugly piece...a real travesty.

Anything that highlights Eddie Collins' crotch is A-Ok in my book.

I agree completely. I hope they didn't ruin a signed vintage card to create this.

Holy crap that is one ugly piece of garbage.

This looks like a ticket stub to a regional semi-pro wrestling tournament circa 1992 except maybe not as tastefully designed.

Nice though the original card would have been, its worthless now.

Since what is left of the card is below the fold, I wonder if this thing may have separated into 2 pieces decades ago, and this is about all they could do with a nice autograph on a headless Collins card,.

In a sane world, that would be a plausible theory.

In the world we actually live in where they buzz-saw Babe Ruth game used bats to create a sufficient supply of sawdust to put into cards....the life expectancy of autographed T201s is probably similar to that of fighter pilots on the Western Front in WW1.

Even if they did just have the lower half I suspect they'd go out, buy a perfectly good Collins/Baker and cut it in half just for spite.

Historic Autographs responded to my emailed question and said that they did not cut down a T201 for this card. They said it may have been reprinted in a magazine, and that's where the cut auto came from.
