Yup, saw Calvary awhile back. Gleason is fantastic as usual.

Speaking of Paul Newman. Saw Cool Hand Luke recently. Hadn’t seen it in decades. Great performance in that one.

Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid, will forever be one of my favorite Paul Newman performances. To be honest though, it's hard to find a bad performance by the man.

The Hustler and its sequel, The Color of Money, are two other great ones.

A fine list, David Mamet stories tend to make great movies. Love all Paul Newman Movies. I dont know how the Sting didn't make this list yet.
When I was young I would travel with my Grandfather. Road trips mostly to visit relatives. 3 summers in a row we went to local Drive ins in three differant States, to catch a Movie. And All three years The Sting was playing. It was just as much fun the third year as the first.

Friends of Eddie Coyle is definitely worth watching.
Good Bad and Ugly the crown jewel of spaghetti westerns
And original Producers Movie Gene Wilder Zero Mostel.

Only recall two "recent" movies. Ever since our now 2 1/2 year old daughter was born, we've fallen very far behind on anything. Just last night finally got to finish the last season of Cobra Kai.

The Pope's Exorcist was one I was looking forward to. I love that genre of horror movies that get into your head and not the "horror" movies that revolve around blood and gore or go for the quick little scare that might make you jump a little. This movie started out showing promise in my opinion, then I felt like the last 20-30 minutes were essentially "Let's wrap this thing up" and got ridiculous.

It's a couple of years old but we also watched The Black Phone. Really enjoyed that movie.

Black Phone was certainly one of the better horror movies I’ve seen in the last year or two.

Not Stephen King written, but it felt like a really good Stephen King adaptation. Lots of similar themes that are in his stories.

I have not seen or heard about The Verdict. But I have seen Cool Hand Luke, and Butch Cassidy. My dad always talked about The Hustler.

Tonight my wife said she never seen Butch Cassidy and would like too.

My mom recently asked me if I knew the title of his racing movie, but I haven't a clue.
