Default January Hold'em (beginning of a new Series)

The 2011 Old Cardboard Texas Hold'em Series for vintage collectors begins tonight.

Tournament #1 (the inaugural tourney of the 2011 Series) is only hours away. It begins tonight at 20:30 EST (7:30 pm Texas Time). All collectors of vintage cards and memorabilia are invited to participate.

Details can be found on the Old Cardboard website at: http://www.oldcardboard.com/misc/pok...2011-poker.asp.

Each monthly tournament usually starts with two tables and lasts about 1-1/2 to 2 hours. It's great fun for all who can join in and new players are always welcome.

Tonight's tourney is PokerStars #345004603; password for access is t206t206. Feel free to email or call with any questions.

Good luck to all players,
Lyman

Default January Results

Results from last night's tourney are now posted on the Old Cardboard website at: http://www.oldcardboard.com/misc/pok...eaderboard.asp. Congrats to Rob Miller, Steve Murray and Rawn Hill for their respective 1st, 2nd and 3rd place wins. Better enjoy the lead now because it won't last long!

We are off to a great start with 15 players in last night's tourney. Next contest will be February 22. All vintage collectors are welcome. Hope to see you there.

Lyman

Gee, Scott. I don't see anything in the rules to cover that situation. Perhaps you can try next month to double your record.

Now that is funny...Sounds like me when I am playing locally with friends . I just say that I did it to hit the snacks early. Every time I go all in they all fold. I guess they know me too well , man of few risks. (except a few stupid business ventures...)
