What were they thinking?
This cabinet is being offerred in the current MEARS auction as an 1873 cabinet of major leaguer Bill Barrett with the Baltimore NA club. I think the uniform style is just a bit too modern for that
 . "Chas. Barrett" is written on the back. This may be minor leaguer Charles F. Barrett shown with Beaumont in 1905. Thanks to my friend TSB for pointing this out.

The glove is post 1900 as well.
