2000 posts, 10,000 emoticons.

The undisputed emoticon master.

I will even post a T206 to mark the occasion (of course not a scrap).

Johnny,

I figured you would've celebrated by at least posting some pics of your favorite scraps or super freaks!!

Congrats Johnny!! As Peter said, It must be 2000 posts and 10000 emoticons. You are one of the most passionate and upbeat collectors on the board. It's always fun to get you jazzed up too. Your enthusiasm is infectious. I wish everyone had as much fun as you seem to. Happy collecting and wishing you great joy in your next 2000 posts.

I see Peter has already posted the Johnson port, so I'll have to come up with something else.

Ahem. In recognition of Johnny's 2,000 posts (and 4,000 emoticons!), I will happily share the latest addition to my white borders collection.

My first catcher, and first factory 649 overprint.

Your enthusiastic posts always make me smile, Johnny. And I can always count on a new member being greeted warmly with a "try a T206 on for size", or something similar, slipped into your greeting.

I've always liked your style and enthusiasm Johnny! I don't have any freaks, but this is my favorite weird t206: huge border sov460 Wiltse.

This would not be a proper celebration of Johnny and his T206 affinity without a quick appearance of our resident large Ass!

No drama from you!

Christopher Walken is duly impressed.

But Pai Mei seems a little underwhelmed. He's seen these before (apparently T206 baseball cards are big in the greater shaolin temples!)

Nice cards as always my friend!

Some of them even look familiar.

Default Bill, Sebastian, Chris, and Jantz .......

you guys keep me going ! Thanks for all the kind words....It means a lot to me...I just got home from work, and I feel "beat up" many of the days....but when I read Net54, and especially a post like this, makes everything better....

I realized over the many years that cardboard isn't the fun of collecting, it really is the collectors who I can appreciate.....
don't get me wrong, I'm obsessed with my cards, , but I realize how much people really mean to me(cool friends like I have met here)..and Leon for having such a killah forum...the camradere sp? is just unexplainable...(btw, I will be meeting everyone ,GODWILLING, at the A/C National in 2016....That's do-able for me....thinking about renting a table to display all the "FREAKS" my "circus"in one shot until then Jantz, Love your Idea!

To all those here and beyond who have graced me with some of my cards, I SALUTE YOU you made the Circus possible

Johnny,

You have some fantastic cards I would love to see your collection in
person. I hope you do get a table in AC. You are a great person for
the hobby with your upbeat passion.

I hope you're the person who got this card in 2011 for $12.50

I am already planning AC since I live in NJ......can't wait to meet everyone....

This Griffith is a "BERRY" scrap.......Chris would explain more.......it's part of an early ad (oaks tobacco)......these "Berries" are quite rare printer's scrap....if you see an "oak" grab it

Johnny, I love the Newt. I'm still coming down from the high of learning that there are actually Milwaukee Brewers in this set (well, the old minor league team that played at Borchert Field). That team was the inspiration for the name of the modern day team.

I just find that so cool.

BTW, I must agree with you-Clayton is a really good guy.

Johnny & Bill- thanks for the kind words, the feeling is mutual. You guys are great people and great friends, and it's people like you guys that make the board such an awesome place. The cards, board members, knowledge, Leon and the moderators- in my opinion, make Net54 the best place on the internet.

Johnny, that Doolan is amazing! Thanks for showing that. Never get tired of looking at your cards.

Great fishing photo's Johnny- I'm jealous I miss ocean fishing. You pulled in a couple of beauties there Nice!!!

Sincerely, Clayton
