I need three T210s and will take them in any condition, raw or graded:

Series Five: Lave Cross

Series Seven: O'Halloran and Merchant

Great thread and I hope someone can get me started on a Happy Holiday!

Cheers,
Mike

One of the many things I still love about the hobby is that virtually all the cards on 'need' lists are different, demonstrating the eclectic nature of collectors' interests and passions. Long may it continue.

I have 7 on my "need" list, but here are two "more realistic" ones:

T206 Downs -- any of these: AB / Cycle / Sov

T206 Turner -- any of these: EPDG / OM / Sov

Good luck to all !!!!!

Fun, fun, Scott

I'm concentrating on e92 red crofts candy right now so looking for Evers, Barry, Shean and Davis. While I know where there is a Shean and a Davis, neither owner has shown any interest in selling.

[QUOTE=charlietheexterminator;1729172]I would like a Solly Hoffman Drum, lol

As you know... I've got a Hofman Drum, but it's the sole drum I own and I need it for my master t206 back run. Maybe the person with the PSA 3 can be talked out of his/hers. Now, if something worked out where I upgraded......

PS- awesome deal you just did. An all-around great trade. Love the big boy trades!

Chuck has seven Drums. Is he willing to trade one of those for Hofman?

PS- Sorry I can't help, but I only have one Drum myself.

Great topic, Ryan!

Apologies, but I'm going to go a little over and list more than one card.

T211: E. DeMontreville (with the E.), Seitz, Thomas
T215-1 Walter Johnson
D303 Mothers' Bread Buck Weaver
1913 Voskamp's Pirates Max Carey
T217: Akin, Criger, Peckinpaugh, Stein, Wares

Cards where I'd simply enjoy proof that they exist:
1913 Voskamp's Pirates Ed Mensor
D303 Mothers' Bread Bressler and Lajoie

Thanks for reading this far!

Steve

Wow
these " needed cards " thread has some killers in it.,( some I never even heard of ! )

I wonder if its easier to list cards that a collector has avail ( that would fit in the obscure/ hard to find category )

Heres a few of my avail " killers -

Mecca doublefolder Ty Cobb
Mecca double flder - C Mathewson
1933 Goudey - Foxx
1934 36 Diamond Stars - R Hornsby
1934-36 Batter Up - hi # B. Dickey
1935 Goudey 4 in 1 Ruth
1941 Double Play - DiMaggio /Keller

Lower grade T206 Drum Paul Davison to complete the run. But it's a pretty long shot.

T4 Obak Sutor. I can trade one of my T4s for it, if they are in the close to equal condition. I'm down to needing just a few Sutor cards to have a complete run, but the remaining ones are killer.

Hey Steve,
So, your idea of "a little over" is listing 14 cards?!! Good grief! Were you the kid in class who never followed the teacher's instructions? Oh well, because I know you to be a nice guy, I hope someone responds with at least one of the cards you are looking for! And furthermore, I'm gonna be so bold as to revise my earlier post by adding a second card!
Best,
Val

Agreed, great thread . . .

I'm down to a single Old Judge for a complete Detroit player run, I'd love to acquire an N172 of Barney Gilligan w/ Detroit.

And if I may take the same approach as Chris Bland, I'd like to ask for any N333 SF Hess Newsboy not found below. I'd love to hear from anyone with a copy regardless of willingness to part with it/them in the name of research.

Damn. I’ve never heard of half of these cards. I’m so basic.

My one want would be perfectly a centered 34 Goudey Greenberg 7 or 8. Not obscure, but still elusive.

I am not a set collector or player/team collector and I have so far managed to resist the (sometimes strong) temptation to start a back run.

I am going for a type card collection of Louisiana cards so I think the closest thing to a need for me is a T213-1 Cobb.

Mine is equally as unlikely to find as some of the other'want lists' posted here. Great thread by the way as many of these I never knew existed. I am hoping to find a Drum of my Grandfather Merle 'Doc' Adkins. I have a lead on a blank back to complete a run.

Thanks, Dave

I feel like I'm late to the party.

For pre-war, I'd like Zeenuts of Coveleski, Arbuckle, Crawford, and Southworth. Also a PC796 Wagner.

For post-war, the 1970 Topps Cloth Sticker Seaver Wins Opener

Also wouldn’t mind promo PCs of any of the following boxing HOFers:
Charley Burley
Cocoa Kid
Sugar Ramos

Another Adam Hats premium would be nice too. Haven’t seen one for sale from any sport in a couple of years.

ETA: picked up an acceptable Lloyd Marshall piece on eBay so that’s off my list.

I guess it's all personal perspective, but I sure that one was high grade! (The PSA 6 Tip Top, which for some reason doesn't reappear here when I try to quote it).

I need a 1924 Diaz Cigarette of Guy Morton.

I have a 6 of the Indians in the set already and have a connection on getting the 7th

All that's left is to find the 8th and I'll have a full team set

Been looking 4 years now, know there's one graded but never found out who sold it.
