Default 1922 Babe Ruth

See link- I had a bird that looked just like that- didn't fly very far and only did when i threw it..probably the most unaffectionate pet I ever had too...

I think they thought he was going to throw the ball at the bird? Which wouldn't be very nice although it does look like the bird made off with the top left part of the card.

Reminds me of the Winfield "Bird Killling Incident". Ruth looks aggressively anxious to launch his weapon at the next unsuspecting bird.

I was going to say, no way would this be shilled...but it's hard to tell with ebay... And I guess some people just bid a lot with certain sellers?
