A fool and his money are soon parted.

But no worries here, the high bidder has to be our bud Stew.

Is there a value to old reprints? I just don't understand why you would pay so much for a card that is a reprint, even if its from the 1930s.

If the team and name were printed in brown it would be a

dangerous reprint. Rob

This guy will have his feedback bumped from a horrendous 91.3% to 100% with the new Ebay policies. Sweet.

I believe there is no such thing as a reprint from the 1930's or even 50's.

Queston for some of you long time collectors from 1950-60s.
When were the first true reprints made? The kind that are printed in the same size as the authentic cards. I remember them from the late 70s.

It is auctions like these why Ebay will never create a seperate Reprint category.

reprints? late 70's early 80's certainly not the 30's or the 50's. the reprints would have cost more to make in the 30's than buying the real thing! this seller is so full of crap i could smell his stench just reading his b.s.

Back is a clear indicator of it being reprinted. Separate printings between the front and back.

It's definitely different than the Wagner reprints you usually see in that both his name and Pittsburgh are pushed so far to the left at the bottom of the card. They don't even extend to the right flap on his uni.

The card did not really sell. If you look at the bidding, it was just dualing shill bidders.

A fool and his money....

In this case both the buyer and seller are fools as they are one and the same.

ditto for the runnerup.

I would hope Ebay wouldn't refund this clown his sellers fee when he files for a credit for non-payment. Probably not quite simple enough for Ebay to recognize.
