Default OT: 19th Century Printing Expert Wanted - Kinney

All,

Here is a thread from the non-sports side I thought many of you would find interesting. The card in the original post was partially "cut off" by the card to the left and right, yet there is no over (double) printing. Compare it to a normal card on post #3. Look carefully at the bottom writing, the missing end of the sword, and the missing toes to the left shoe. How could this happen? Steve?

Eric, I think the card you have is from the banner. I posted it over there as well.

Cards have always been more popular than posters, so we regularly find examples of cards cut from them. And usually it is the explanation for these anomalies.

I've been busy with a big project John, selling my house on Long Island. I'll be glad when it's over. Maybe we can get a few guys together this spring for an old fashioned NYC dinner.
