I finally got my '54 Bowman Williams. I overpaid for it and I didn't love it due to centering - but I got tired of losing auctions, I didn't figure the juice until after the fact, and I let emotion get the best of me - basically your basic nightmare and the person that we all roll our eyes about...

Note to self: Send Kevin a message if you ever send a card to auction

Seriously though, congrats on picking up a sharp card. I have always really liked the 54 Bowman Williams and Mantle.

Did anyone here pick up the T206 Jordan?

I have been there so many times, but I was never able to articulate it like this. I feel you, man, but that's a nice card, and I truly believe you can't overpay, you can just pay a higher price too early (if that makes sense.)

Peter had a beautiful centered 5 and I was too slow to the trigger. So, in the end I paid 20% more for an 80/20. It will just go into the safe so it wasn't for resale anyway - but one thing I learned about this card is that the price has been stable for a while - so the odds of appreciation aren't great...
