Default Christy Mathewson RPPC as a child?

I have seen many is this type of Joe Jackson threads asking if it is him. To me this RPPC looks like a perfect ringer for Christy Mathewson. Tha stance and the grip are identical. I wanted to come on here to get everyones opinion before I listed it for sale at the low price of $500,000.00 with a best offer option.

Yes I know the RPPC actually dates from the 1904-1918 era but facts have not stopped similar inquiries before.

Thanks in advance for any help.

That is definitely not him. The kid is holding his glove too close to his leg...Matty would never do that. Christy was too much of a gentleman to resort to this sort of low brow tactic, and this mere stub of a boy is clearly no gentleman in the making.

That could explain why Greg Maddux always finished with his hand so close to his leg.

Yes they do. All you have to do is squint a lot and completely close your good eye.

That is a great pic of him on the left.

To be honest I think you all are just jealous I found this rare item worth a LOT of money.

I believe the next step is to call everyone that disagrees with me names and list it on eBay. I will probably skip both of those. Have a great day everyone and hopefully you got a smile or laugh from this.

Perception is reality. I perceive it is him.
