With all the interest in that wacky scrap with the EPDG-Old Mill-Piedmont-Young portrait-Mullin back, I figure it is time for a good old session of printing errors. I'll start:

Not a very good scan but I love the eye makeup! And the neck Tatoo.

E101 Wet Transfer or something! It doesn't appear to be a bleed through on close inspection. Too bad it's trimmed, woulda looked nice in a SGC holder.

Im surprised that M. Brown survived. If I was the original kid who found that I would have drawn in the body with a pen or pencil.

Maybe the original kid already went after that Brown, with an eraser

Here's my Chief Meyers T206 "Ghost." Not only are there 2 ghost images on the front...one of which is Chief Meyers, but there is also a reverse of the red Sweet Caporal back seen as well.

Because there is so much going on with this ghost card, I have never been able to figure out the ghost on the left border of this card. Chief Meyers' ghost is literally on the right border.

Any guesses?

Patrick

To clarify. When this Quinn popped up last week I didn't notice that back, I often miss the fine details because of the small laptop screen (read, over-forty visual impairment). Out of boredom, I took a look again this AM then noticed the subtle wet transfer... Incidentally, thanks for the bump, perhaps I can return the favor one day I herd W517's. Do you collect these as well or just liked this particular card?

BTW; That seller is a quality seller and nice guy, I've bought several of his W517's over time.

I just liked the card because of the transfer. Did not realize anyone else was that interested or I would have just let you get it for 26.00. I put in my snipe thinking I would get that kinda deal. win some loose some.
Nice card though.

I'd be curious to know whether the image is right-side-up or upside down relative to the card front. Please post when you get it.

anyway.

Cool card Ted. Did you get that in a pack back in the day or pick it up later?

The ghost image is upright and a mirror image. The card on the right is a replica.

Daniels(s), NY. I almost feel obligated to make a Bill Buckner comment, but that wouldn't be nice.

Some 1949 Bowman color errors....the Rookie cards of the "Duke of Flatbush",
Doby, Sisler should have Yellow backgrounds....and Campy's should be Orange.
