Alan: I'll admit that Greenberg is an important addition to a Jewish player baseball card accumulation, however, his rookie card may not give you as much BANG for your buck as some other choices.

One alternate option which you may wish to consider is Greenberg's 1936 Series 3 Wheaties card. This card has significant visual impact due to its size (larger than an Exhibit) and color (Wheaties Orange) and framing.

Also worthy of mentioning: the Wheaties card is available for much less than the Goudey.

I think his last "active" card is in the 1954 Golden Stamp Books Cleveland Indians set (as GM). Very obscure and very hard to find.
