Default Lew Lipset question

Posted By: Rick McQuillan

Hi folks, I was looking through Lew Lipsets Encyclopedia of Baseball Cards Volumes 1, 2 & 3. In the introduction he says that he was planning on Volume 4 - Bakery and Periodical items, Volume 5 - Gum cards, and Volume 6 Miscellaneous.

Did he ever issues these volumes? If so, where can I find them?

Thanks!

Rick

A book on bread cards would be great though.

Default Lew Lipset question

Posted By: MikeB

Hello, I am fairly new to the board. I have responded to a couple of the posts, but mostly lurk. The members of this forum are very informed on many issues. Do any of you have plans to pick up where Lipsett left off? Also, is there a chance of updated versions of the first three books?
At one point, Purdy had hinted in VCBC that he was working on some kind of guide. I assume that, like many other statements he printed are forgotten. Thanks, Mike
