I've sent fifty or more packages to one of the poorest countries in Africa (to several townships) this past year. Not one opened, damaged nor pilfered. No question those postal servants knew there was valuable contents coming from USA. Heck, them finding a box of Cheez-Its would be like Christmas morning for us.

Postal employee Newman: "I'll handle this, Violet. Why don't you take your three hour break?"

Yet, this clown throws away a flippin million-dollar career for chicken sh!t. Illness? Moot point. He refused the help available to him. Let the greedy sob hang.

I wonder why this case was prosecuted in state court versus federal court. Sounds like something Postal Inspectors are paid to do rather than a PD detective.
