Jim, can you share how you came across those E93s? Amazing cards! These werent' packaged with any products were they? I can't imagine they could be in that kind of shape if they were.

I think a few board members have hoped on a time machine back to the early 1900's. I'm amazed everytime see cards so old stay in such amazing shape over the years. GREAT CARDS EVERYONE!!!

Cmoking,
Many of the high grade E93's I have came from fellow board member caramel collectors. Others I bought in auctions. I know that a large group of very high grade E93s surfaced about eight years ago or so in a Masto auction and that is where many of the nm/mt and mint examples came from. It amazes me to see these cards in such high grade. Somebody must have really loved them and taken good care of them.

They pale in comparison to Jim's E93s, but they are mine:

(I know, the Johnson isnt really an E card, but its the same pose, so Im being a bit liberal with my interpretation of the rules).

T206King,
I was not at the Toronto show, though I would love to know who you met. Was the person set up with a table?

1) yes all the posted CJs arein the auction--they're graded, now, too--but I can't keep track of the grades (I haven't got the list yet)--some are right on, and some are ridiculous beyond words... gorgeous cards, by the way (JimB's of course)

2) Quan, I LOVE that E107--it's my favorite one. The casual Keeler...

Scott and Jim,

Those are some sick cards! "Wow!" is all I can say. I don't even collect "E" cards, but those are some drool-inducing cards.

Josh,

Forget about the technical grade on the holder, your E93s are great!

I've been impressed by everybody's scans except for Andy. Who are those suits? Team owners? Executives? Come on, Andy, from now on, scans of players only please.

Maybe not "best" but some "favorites" ...

A common e101 that you don't (or at least I don't) see too often:

My only e107, but I enjoy his listed postion:

Finally, rare and beautiful, is a nice combonation:
