Default Forbes Field stub date?

I'm trying to nail down an approximate date and price on a Forbes field ticket. Given the signature of William Benswanger I can place it between 1932 and 1946. Can anyone narrow it down any closer??

I'm also curious about a price for a stub from 1913 with Honus Wagner's last two hits of the season clinching a .300 average for the last time in his career.

Thanks!!

Hi Paul,
There is no way to nail down the exact date that the top Pirates ticket (yellow) is from without the patron writing a score or date on it or it being attached to a dated scorebook.

The paper season ticket is worth perhaps $75- $100 to the right collector. I've noted that ticket collectors as a whole prefer the cardboard version of the ticket to the paper version. Although the significance of the date is very cool, it would mostly appeal to a Pirates or perhaps Honus Wagner collector, IMHO.

I hope you find this helpful...
