Default Question on a 1990's issue

I've been collecting the 1997 Donruss Signature Base Autograph Series set for years, the ones with the red backgrounds (not the Millennium Marks green/Century Marks blue backgrounds.)

I've been stuck on the last 4 for what seems like forever: Wade Boggs, Edgar Martinez, Raul Mondesi, and Mo Vaughn.

I've been using this as my resource guide:

http://baseballcardpedia.com/index.p...gnature_Series

I've only ever seen one red background Mo Vaughn, and I've never seen the other three in red background.

Has anyone else attempted this set and seen Boggs, EMart, and Mondesi with a red background, or am I on a 20+ year snipe hunt?

Thanks for any advice,
Stuck-in-the-90's Steve

There is an Edgar Martinez in the sold out section of COMC.

Complete 115 card set issued 1 card per $15 pack back in 1997.
(Mondesi card reportedly never issued in Red Set.)
So it looks like you've still got three to find.

Thanks so much for your help, all! VERY much appreciated!

So I'll continue my hunt for a red Boggs, Vaughn, and Edgar Martinez, and give up on Mondesi. Thank you again so much!

It is amazing that some of these players signed 3900 cards. That would drive me nuts.

This is from the 2011 Standard Catalog.
