The Standard catalog lists all of the zeenuts, obaks, t210's and other minor leagues with only the last names of the players. Is there a place or book or something that I can get that has their full names?

3 issues of The Old Judge have a list of the all the major leaguers that were in the Zeenut set. Don't know about the other players. I know a few people who have info like this, but I will let them chime in if they are willing to share it.

Leon can make the call on whether it is appropiate to do it here but I have lots of first names for players in the Bluegrass League T210, Series 6 and would be happy to compile what I have if that helps --maybe others could do the same with the other leagues.

Bill-it's fine to do it in this thread if ya'll want to (leon)

Whenever possible, I make sure to include full names in our checklists in the Beckett Almanac of Cards and Collectibles. Just about all of our Zeenut cards have the full names of the players.

For ANY other set which needs this help; if someone can provide the 1st names, I'll make sure they are included in the next volume.

I was going to put out a more detailed clarion call for help for our next book -- but if there are any people with the full names of people in these sets I'll make sure they get into our data base ASAP.

Thanks in advance and look for other postings from me

I can't remember if it was Mark Macrae or Keith Olberman, but I seem to recall a VBCC article which went through the Obak set with full names of the players and also which ones played major league ball and when and for whom.

All the names are now in the data base and can be added to the hobby general knowledge.

I'll take this information from other leagues in the Old Mill set as well

I have been slowly working on a list of the 1911 Zeenut players with complete name, team, position(s), and scans of the cards.

If you need info on certain players, I be glad to share what info I may have put together.

Patrick
