Default Here's another excellent powerseller

This seller had listed this card before. Noticing this was a reprint, but looking at his ebay name, and his feedback, I emailed the seller and pointed out the reasons to him that it was a reprint. The most obvious being that it says reprint on the reverse at the bottom. He professed innocence, said he got it in a lot of coins that he had bought and it was no big deal for him to eat the loss. Now a month later the card is listed again. Look at the seller's feedback---over 3500 with no negs, but somebody will be out money on a worthless card.

At least he says he has been told it is a reprint in his description and the card back is in plain sight (although at the bottom and small) saying it is a reprint !! Those buyers get what they deserve on this one.......why push a guy out of the way of a train if he is going to jump back on the tracks? regards all

Leon, I agree. I missed the part about him saying he was told it was a reprint. I was away for a few days and was rushing through things and it was reading exactly like his previous auction, so I guess I skipped the spot where he said that. It's unbelievable how dumb some people can be to bid on this item.

...with MULTIPLE BIDDERS!!!..At THIS level, the ENTIRE Dover reprint book has a potential break-up value equal to a 1957 Topps Set!!!!! The Ruths ALONE should bring almost a GRAND!

No Ruths in the Diamond Star set. Look at the retraction, otherwise this reprint would have sold for $31.

The seller commits two sins here:

1) The title doesn't say "reprint".
2) The auction category is wrong, since this is not a pre-1950 card.

So someone who gets stuck by this still has a complaint, even though the description of the card says "reprint", too, not just the scan.

It's possible that the cause of this is seller inexperience and lack of thoughtfulness, rather than intent to do harm.

..doesn't only have Diamond Star reprints in it. It also has about 300+ misc. reprints of Ruths, Cobbs, Mattys, Youngs, Dimaggios, Teddys, etc. There's even different EDITIONS of Dover reprints!!!!
