Happened to see the rost er for the Buffalo minor leauge team. There is a player on the roster with the name Coco Crisp.

He was around at the beginning of last year, and i think he played on a team the As were playing--no, I don't know which team. Expect me to know something useful?

Bob says...it was Cleveland--this is last year--and was noted by ESPN.

hate to ruin your thread Jay,but his real name is Covelli Crisp,Coco is just a nickname.He did play for the Indians.....The best actual name i remember from the minors was a player called Wonderful Terrific Monds,his real name,and the best part was he was w.t. monds the third,meaning that was his father and grandfathers exact name also

Dick Trickle is still the greatest name ever. Take one hell of a guy to go thru life with that name and not go by Richard instead.

I dated a girl for a little while whose first and middle name were Anita Leigh. Just what were her parents thinking?
