Default Help with premium photos

Hi-
I recently acquired a large scrapbook filled with pictures of Baseball Players from the Teens through the early 50s. Most of the pictures are newspaper cutouts or magazine cutouts, but there are several that are neither, leading me to believe they are "premiums" (either team issued or otherwise). Below this text please find the first two examples I am looking to identify. I would like to know approximate year of issue, whether it is a team issue or not, and an approximate value. Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to provide.

Rich, thank you very much for your quick response. This board is amazing. Below is another whatsit from the same scrapbook. It is a photo of Walter Johnson, on magazine style paper but with a blank back. I would have thought it was cut from a magazine except for the blank back. Again any help that could be provided would be greatly appreciated.
