Worst condition card in your collection
Thinking about the torn in half Honus Wagner that was auctioned not too long ago, I started thinking does anyone have a half of card in there collection? I would like to see the card with the least amount of cardboard still attached in people's collections. I have a couple that were auctioned off on ebay in 2021 that I can start off with. These are not yet in two pieces but are close.

Apparently part of a Wagner is a common theme.
This one was lost by CSG/UPS for nearly 4 months and amazingly found a couple weeks ago.20221024_164746.jpg Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk |

It stinks but the card is from a rare strip set, so I take what I find. Honorable mention: Trimmed and skinned but I own it...

Definitely not the worst condition cards in my collection, but probably the most fun. Here are my E125 American Caramel of Heinie Wagner and Enameline College Doll, both missing their heads.
The advantage of having headless cards is that, with a bit of scanning fun, I can create my own special Honus Wagner cards, the one shown utilizing the headless Enameline card. Brian (die-cut T206 Honus head surprisingly not mine) |

Here's one of the worst in my collection. I love it and will never part with it. I'll upgrade it for my set one day but will not get rid of this one.

I have a few that are pretty bad. Mostly not scanned.
But I did scan this one, so I'll call it "worst card postwar edition" Prewar to follow eventually... |

I think the below T205 examples I have hanging around no longer really qualify. And despite what all of you might think, I don't have pieces like this for every vintage set. I imagine that it just seems like I do. Brian (large scans provided to make these seem more substantial) PS. Can anyone tell me which Wilhelm variation I have? |

I can't find them at the time, but my worst are a work of childhood genius.
In the early eighties I could obviously not afford vintage because I was currently amassing wealth at the rate of a couple dollars per week as my allowance. I really wanted some older cards of star players and decided that I could create some. I cut the little vintage cards from the full set of 1982 Topps Kmart cards and then had my first Mantle and Clemente. Still have them somewhere.
