Default Sweet Caporal 350/30 "No Print" Test Thread

Posted By: Scot Reader

Now that my first two Sweet Caporal "no print" test threads have slid off the Net54 front page, I figure the time is ripe for another one!

Here, we are trying to trim the ranks of the 14 subjects that are theoretically possible with SWEET CAPORAL 350 FACTORY 30, but have not yet surfaced with that back.

These 14 putative SC 350/30 "no prints" are all from the 150/350 subject group, except J. Doyle (N.Y. Nat'l) which is known only with Piedmont 350.

Also of note, these 14 include Ted Z.'s "elite eight" 150/350 subjects that are not believed to exist with any 350 back other than Piedmont 350.

All told, the working group of SC 350/30 "no prints" includes:

Bridwell (No Cap)
Chase (Pink Portrait)
Chesbro
Dahlen (Boston)*
J. Doyle (N.Y. Nat'l)
Elberfeld (N.Y. Portrait)
Ewing*
Ganley*
T. Jones (St. Louis)*
Karger*
Keeler (Portrait)
Lindaman*
Lundgren (Chicago)*
Mullin (Throwing)*

Please respond if you can confirm any of these 16 subjects with SC 350/30.

Thanks.

Scot

*"Elite eight" 150/350 subject that is not believed to exist with any 350 back other than Piedmont 350.

Barry, Jim:

Thanks for checking.

The "elite eight" and J. Doyle (N.Y. Nat'l) almost certainly do not exist with SC 350/30, but at least a few of the other seven might be uncovered.

I have located Criger with SC 350/30.

Interestingly, the 14 "no prints" that remain include Ted's "elite eight" plus six New York subjects. Coincidence?
