Default Bill melton

I got this in as part of a collection.

I can not find an example where he signs his name fully like this.

I'm not a big autograph guy. Is this a rarity?

Looks identical to his facsimile signature.

I have had Beltin' Bill Melton at a few card shows and his autograph looks a bit different than yours yet similar if that makes any sense. While I will in no way stake my reputation on this auto, yours looks to be a early career signature as his current auto is a bit more big and bold. While dont you send him a copy and ask him if that is his genuine full signature. He does community relations work for the White Sox and and can usually be found around Chicago doing various appearances for the White Sox. Might be worth a try.

Melton is very accommodating. A few years back, I sent him a letter asking if it was okay to forward a Sports Illustrated cover. He sent the cover back quickly.
