Default 1940 Associated Stations S.F. Seals Stamps

Posted By: Adam J. Baxter

I picked up one of these, Ed Stutz, some months ago and I haven't seen any on Ebay since or anywhere else for that matter. Are these really that tough? They are listed in the 2004 SCD Catalog and their modest price would seem to indicate otherwise. Does anyone else collect these? Does anyone have any background on this set aside from what written in the Standard Catalog?

Not exactly a common issue, but also aset that hardly anyone outside a diehard PCL or Seals fan collects. I need 7 cards from set and have never seen one for sale I need.

Jay

I saw weird stuff in that place last night. Wierd, strange, sick, twisted, eerie, godless, evil stuff. And I want in.

Haven't seen too many for sale. I think Mark M. might have had some one time and that's where I got mine (I think). Very moderately priced, I might add. True type collector special or die hard PCL fan....as was mentioned....later

Jay, Leon, Thanks for the info. When I first saw it I knew it was a PCL stamp, but I had no idea what set it was from. Thankfully they were listed in Standard Catalog. Other then the name on the front there's really no other way to tell what it is, unless you know PCL Players/teams. I wonder how many of these have slipped by under the radar on Ebay due to lack of info or misidentification?
