Default T206 miscut back - good or bad?

Hi,

Apologies if this is an obvious one to most, but I haven't kept up with the latest trend on miscuts / anomalies in the T206 set.

With that said, is the pictured back considered a good thing? What would be a ballpark value if it is?

The front of the card is centered nicely.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

Hi Scott

Nice looking miscut!

I can't help much as far as value. So many factors to consider and what someone is willing pay will determine the value.

I watched this card on Ebay just out of curiosity to see what this lot of T206s would bring. I'm sure the miscut back Donlin helped the final selling price.

Nice card...The basic rule of thumb is, the more you see of the adjacent card, the more it's worth. Here's my example...

You know, back in the day that would have been considered garbage, now it's considered gold.... funny what a difference a couple of decades will make...

Default Great card guys!

I just parted with one of my cherished cards, piedy 42 Griffith split back!! Jantz turned me onto it a few years ago.....went to my friend Jamie.....the toughest split back I have ever seen/owned! but received a blank back and some trade in return....thanks to my Canadian counterpart

as ironic as it is, one man's trash is another man's treasure

I LOVE T206 SCRAP! as y'all know.....I always love the factory cut freaks such as these split/ mc backs...

But I love the true "garbage" scrap cards of yesteryear...almost like "mini" art to me...

these mc add quite a premium.....as to echo what mike said, the more "dramatic" the cut, the more value!

Scot, your card (depends also who is on the obverse) , is currently "prob" in the $200- $250 range.....

hope this helps

I hate to assign any values to these, because they are unique onto themselves....
