Default A bit off topic from pre-war, but need your help

Posted By: Chris

I'm branching out from my t205 collecting to pick up a few players from the 'modern' era that I just would like to collect. I'm looking for names of friends/dealers you all know that might have suggestions on where I could locate a 1954 Topps Hank Aaron card in any shape.
Thanks!

It's a great card of a great player whose cards consistently underperform (whoops, I am I gonna have to prove that, too?) other great HOF sluggers of his time.

707 Sports Cards has a couple as low as $250. You get one stop shopping and a guaranteed authentic card, but you'll pay a litttle for the convenience. Other big dealers like Levi also probably have a few in varying conditions.

Otherwise, eBay always has a few, carrying the risk/reward that we all know about...

I like Mr Slacks advice,,,might work for ya,,,

my opinion on cards like that is to go to your local show...as a local dealer I know there is always 3 or 4 cards like this in the room at any given time. You can always get a good deal from a small dealer as this is an expensive card and the the small guy might like some extra cash flow. Also you can use the other dealers in the room as leverage for a good price, and most importantly you can buy a card in the condtion that you like, as the internet is always a risk as you can't handle the card before buying,,,at least you know it wont be trimmed,,,

good luck
