Default 1908 Rose Co Postcards

Greetings everyone. I was wondering if anyone collects the 1908 Rose Co Postcards? They are really gorgeous cards. They don't seem to be very plentiful.
I have only 1 in my collection. Post pics if anyone collects these.

completely showoffable...that's a darn nice 10 unless there is something awful on the back. I honestly am having trouble with the 10 grade...some are perfectly nice cards, others are completely trashed.

That Rose Co. Wagner is awesome!

Just curous - I'm not sure if it is the scan, but is the SGC black insert cut crooked? It looks like the left and right of the insert are cut at a slant.

Also, does anyone know how many Rose Co Wagners exist? Less than 15?

Tony

I don't collect them per se but am glad to have one in my Lajoie collection:

(Edited to add: If anyone has a Rose Cobb, please post it. Would love to see one.)

Here's a few faux Springfield MA Rose PC's:

Barbour. Played in the PCL and appears in the 1915 Zeenut set:

Luby. Toiled in minors and never made it to the major league:

Harl Vestin Maggert. Bad boy in the PCL and got himself banned for throwing games.

Connor. Brother of Hall of Famer Roger Connor.

Shano Collins. Played on the 1919 White Sox team.

The more times I see a Rose PC, the more I like them! A very "Classic" & "period perfect" issue that is timeless in its beauty!

What is the approximate value of a Common in VG, may I ask?

Old Cardboard has a VG "common" at $450. I think with a little patience you could score one for that.

Default Near Perfect Rose

Only one Rose post card has received a grade of 7.

It can be found in the world's premiere, type card
and baseball player endorsed post card collection.

The image is of Admiral George Schlei who graced the rosters of the Cinn Reds and NY Giants - no team is shown on the only example in this ultra high grade
