Default T206 Reprints

Posted By: Lee Behrens

Hi All,

I am in my new house ( my own little vintage card musuem). For those of you who have bought or sold from me my new address is as follows:

Lee behrens
508 Irving St.
Alexandria, MN 56308

Please don't send me any pictures of Scott's dog, I think he is being neglected because of all the posting he is doing.

I have a question as to what to look for if you possibly have a T206 reprint. I bought a 3 card lot and one looks suspicious, but could be real. I made an effort to buy a T206 reprint, but I receieved a T201 reprint pretty nice but not what I was looking for. Any help in the manner would be nice.

To Brian Hodes: Did you send a T206 reprint with the last bunch you sent me?

Always looking for donations to my musuem, please send to address above.

Lee

Default T206 Reprints

seriously, it's very easy to tell a reprint if you have a 10x magnifier. Just take any real t206 and look at it. Then look at the fake. The easiest part of the card to concentrate on is the brown writing at the bottom - on a real card it will be brown and you will see ink concentration along the edges of the letters. Much like it would look if you used a rubber stamp on something.
