Default Cool Find

Evening to all. Was out and about Jacksonville today and found this. Catchers mask circa 1900 to 1910. In fantastic condition for age. Not one for equipment but this caught my eye.

These always stand out and are some the most interesting early baseball items - these type spider masks come in all different designs - some are even hand made - with a great number of them also made by Reach and other sporting good companies

Nice! - thanks Jimmy

Has elastic on it that dates it around 1907 to 1909

Nice mask Ken!

I'm not one for equipment either, but I wouldn't have been able to walk away.
