Default What are these worth Globe Weaver, Weil Baking Collins, M101-5 SGC 85 Sallee

Posted By: James Gallo

I generally wouldn't do this but as part of a possible trade I may put these cards up and I really don't have any idea what they should go for.

1916 Globe Stores Buck Weaver SGC Authentic with a slight trim and otherwise NM card

1916 Weil Baking Eddie Collins SGC Authentic with some paper loss to the front. Very tough issue

M101-5 SGC 84 Slim Sallee

Any help would be greatly apprieciated. Thanks

Greetings Mr. Gallo,
Well according to the SCD, the....

BUCK WEAVER (PAGE 170)
Gloge Clothing Store(H801-9):
(Stars = 2-3x)
NM = $225 - Ex = $110 - VG = $65

EDDIE COLLINS (PAGE 522)
Weil Baking CO.(D329):
NM = $650 - EX = $340 - VG = $170

"SLIM" SALEE (PAGE 252)
M101-5 BLANK BACK
NM = $80 - EX = $40 - VG = $24

I know it's not Auction Prices or 1st hand knowledge of a price changing hands, but it's a start

Life's Grand,
Denny Walsh

Danny

Thanks for responding. Unfortunately those prices are no where near acurate especially with someone like the weaver and a very tough issue like the weil baking.

Thats what I thought! I also thought that maybe it might help you formulate some #'s from your experience. VCP has nothin on either of them...But you probably know that already too! Just thought I'd help

These are only guesses based on my experience. They could be low and they could be high. I would go about $300 on the Weaver since it's AUT.... On the Collins the front isn't too nice so I am going to say $100 and the Salee about $300.....those are just educated guesses so don't shoot me....and thanks Denny for trying to help out....

I think-- $300 might be a little low on the Weaver given his popularity, and a little high on the high-grade common, but definitely the right ballpark.
