Wow--listening to Jeff right now.He is extremely articulate and is making the anti-Obama case more effectively than I have heard anyone make it.

Go Jeff go.

Well I hope the calls get more intelligent than that first one.

"I've heard Obama wasn't born in America"....Duh...

I heard that first call and I threw up a little bit in my mouth.

He came out of the spot with the Clash, so I give him a mulligan on the next half-hour of Obama bashing.

I'm waiting to hear him talk about Obama, so far he's just railing against some guy named Barry.

Trying to call in and willing to talk politics or baseball cards but keep getting busy signal.

Before this I never considered Jeff a conservative as I have debated the gay marraige and abortion issues with him on this board. However he is very effectice communicating on how far left and how morally bankrupt the current Democratic party has become....and make no mistake how he feels about Obama--an ultra-left fraud.

Jeff- I gave you the courtesy of 15 minutes of my time...and that was as much as I could listen to.

But you speak with a lot of confidence, and are well prepared, so I'll toss you a bone on that one.

Good show. No heart attack here. Do you pick the music, or do the producers?

And I agree - very articulate. And measured tone as well.

Nice job Jeff. Don't agree with everything you say, but it's nice to hear it without the shrill hysteria that marks both sides lately.

If I see "David from (quasi) Ivory Tower" on the call board I'm taking it.

And PS: of course I pick the music.

Yeah Dan - I guess I must be getting numb to it. There is so much actual yelling going on (either that or sarcastic dismissiveness) these days from both sides that anything that is in normal tone does not sound hysterical to me.

Joann,

<<Don't agree with everything you say...>>

Hell, I don't think I've agreed with anything he's said yet, but I agree that I like the way he says it.

And they certainly vetted Joe the Plumber better in 24 hours than McCain did with Palin. Sorry. Couldn't resist.

OK. Maybe just a little hysterical.

Yikes. I just about have to cut my fingers off here to keep from typing a rush about the actual political topics, and let this thread stay on track about Jeff and his show. Unless we want a 400-post thread about the show? lol

I'm listening to the show and I havent heard him mention one thing about vintage cards? Jeff could you say something like " Obama's stance on this issue is as fake as a united cigars underprint!" ....then I will keep listening after the next commercial break.

PS do you ever call Bob Grant, Mudcat? also is he related to Ulysses S Grant? or Government Grant, whoever that is?
