Default Need help identifying this Lou Gehrig card (?)

I recently picked up the below Lou Gehrig card (?), but I'm not sure how to identify it. It is very thin paper and is approximately 8" X 10". The back is completely blank. At first, I thought it could be a clipping from a magazine or newspaper, but the blank back doesn't seem to fit that explanation. Plus, there is a facsimile autograph on this as well, which is also confusing. Any help is much appreciated.

That's definitely the one. Thank you so much! I spent a little time researching this after your post and it seems like Beckett grades these but PSA does not based on VCP and the PSA pop report. I wonder if the size of the card precludes it from being graded by PSA. It would likely get an AUTH grade only as there is some paper loss. I'm debating about sending it in to Beckett anyway though but am open to opinions.

You might send it to Beckett so it can be protected..their holders will probably fit them. I doubt the other TPGs holders would be big enough. The value won't be increased much in the holder but the protection will help.

Right, card size is too large for PSA or SGC. Card would only grade authentic due to the tears. Might still be good for protection but would need to calc all the fees.

Here's a scan of what it looks like encapsulated. Actually, it's too big to fit my scanner, so you only see part of the holder. It's fairly thick also.

I appreciate the feedback on this. I think I may just keep it "as is" for now as it's in a hard plastic protective holder. No use in paying the fees for this one IMO.

Smart move on that one. I always smile when I see sub $1.00 cards (yours is worth more of course) in TPG holders.....
