Craig - love the Horner of Speaker. I always wondered where that was buried.

Default My 5 Favorits - Multiple Sports

It's been a while since I visited the page, and even longer since I last posted. Nice to see some familiar names are still here.

Attached are my 5 favorite:

Baseball cards from my collection (all sold years ago)

Boxing cards from my collection (still have the Newsboy, N150, and Romeo). The Newsboy Sullivan is the only known example.

Hockey cards from my collection (still own them all).

None of the cards are sized to scale.

Default Seattle-centric

Unbelievably great items, everyone. Sensory overload.

Being a lifelong Seattle resident, and avid Seattle collector, I thought I'd show five....okay seven.... of my favorite Seattle baseball items.

1. 1890 leather encased season pass. This was the first professional team in Seattle, the "Seattles" of the Pacific Northwest League. The pass was issued to Samuel Crawford, who was a founder of the first real organized baseball team in Seattle, the 1870s Seattle Alkis.

2. 1903 Seattle Siwashes, cabinet photo, Pacific Coast League. First year of the PCL.

3. 1907 Seattle Siwashes Northwestern League program cover. Love the graphics on this one.

4. 1909 Seattle Turks, Northwestern League championship watch fob. First professional baseball championship team in Seattle.

5. 1939 Seattle Rainiers championship ring. First pennant for the Rainiers, and first of three consecutive.

6. Sculpted plaque of legendary Seattle Rainiers and PCL manager Jack Lelivelt by famed local sculptor Alonzo Victor Lewis. Was displayed at Sicks Stadium, along with plaques of Emil Sick and DE Dugdale.

7. Actual second base from Sicks Stadium, painted by Seattle PI Artist Stu Moldrem, and presented to Tommy Harper on Tommy Harper night in August, 1969.

Default Top 5 pieces

I’ve refocused my collection and here are my top cards!!! Sry that it’s not 5. But had to settle for 6.

My current Ty Cobb cards:
1909 T206 Tolstoi Portrait Red Background PSA 2.

1909 T206 Piedmont 350 Portrait Green Background SGC 35.

1910-11 T3 Turkey Red #9 checklist back(offer) SGC 10.

1907-1909 H.M. Taylor Detroit Club Tigers Postcard PSA 4(only 5 graded higher by PSA).

1910-11 Sporting Life M116 Pastel SGC 20.

1907 Dietsche Postcard Rookie SGC 40!!!

The hard part is staying focused.

Wow,! Centering on that whole issue is notoriously crummy. But to have that kind of centering on that card. Wow, again.
