Default Great Lou Gehrig find what do you think

Great find on eBay this week!! Lou Gehrig endorsing Post Huskies Wheat Flakes. This is the first time I have seen Lou Gehrig used on "metered mail" advertising Post cereal. The envelope was mailed from New York March 17, 1939 to the Register-Republic -Star news paper of Rockford, Illinois. The saddest story in baseball history as a beloved life ended so suddenly and will be remembered as a true legend of baseball. Please visit my web site www.1939baseball.com for more Gehrig stories.

Default Lou Gehrig

Mine is not as nice red ink on a light brown envelope thanks for you reply just have not seen one.
Did you know the most memorable was the sadness felt by New York fans to learn of Lou Gehrig's illness on June 13th after his visit to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. The day before he played 3 innings in an exhibition game against the Kansas City Blues a "Double-A" affiliate of the Yankees, Gehrig did not want to disappoint the 23 thousand + fans at Municipal Stadium.
