Bob, those are all great pick-ups. Given it's huge size, and the photographer, I expect the Mantle to be especially stunning.

And the Griffith is classic Paul Thompson - great painting potential.

I came very close to bidding on the Pirates Poster but wasn't sure of it's composition (I've only seen these on-line, and never in person...)

Was it a Newspaper Insert (printed on thinner newspaper stock), or is it made of thicker cardboard? The auction descriptions never seem to say.

Great pickups, either way!

I now own 2 of them, they are newspaper supplements and are on thinner stock.
