Default Bottles - Let's see 'em.

When I saw Steve and Leon's bottles in Leon's thread "other stuff relating to our cards", I thought it would be of interest to see other bottles linked to the pre-war hobby.

The one on the right is a Chicago White Sox bottle, mid-30s. I'll see if I can dig up more information on it.

Default Sox bottles

The Sox used to bottle orange soda under the stands on the first base side in 1938. The process was discontinued after baseball would not allow bottles in the parks. I have one of those bottles and it weighs more than it looks. I can't imagine the pain from being hit by one of those thrown bottles.
