Default Help with St Louis Browns Items

Looking for a little help with these St Louis Browns items. Was the belt buckle a presentation piece or custom made for a fan... Is the pin a stadium pin. Any help would be appreciated. Tony

Default Browns items

The belt buckle is intresting and probably was custom made. The pin looks to be a 6 inch one . And is listed in The Baseball pin back button book as being in 2 versions. It doesnt show the leather surround in the book . Thats not to say it wasnt included with the pin . Your 2 items may have been a presentation for someone. Look to be in very nice shape. Both versions of the pin guide for 300. You could probably expect 200-225 for the pin. As for the belt buckle hard to say. 150-200 would be a good guess. Nice items good luck with them.

I've seen Belt Buckles just like that, which were presented to/made for Players. If yours could be tied to a Browns Player, it could be worth $800 - $1,000 or so. You may want to go to Baseball Almanac, and check the Browns' rosters of the 1940s to see if there's a match. Best of luck!

I'm not seeing any D.L.B. matches for Browns players, unless there's a nickname involved that I'm missing:

Nope.... unfortunately no Player matches. Perhaps a coach, scout or employee associated with the team. Still a very neat looking piece.
