Default Baseball Card - T206 Wagner 'Sweet Caporal'

Posted By: BBJunks

Hi, Everyone
Can someone tell me if T206 Wagner card is printed in 'Sweet Caporal?
I have noticed original company T206 printing out in several models. The most valuable card was Wagner yellow in front & back it said, 'Piedmont' cigarette. I was wondering T206 Wagner existing out there. Front of the both cards are red & back appear 'Sweet Caporal' & 'Piedmont' cigarette than below said, factory #30 2d district NY. Here's a link to the picture: http://s183.photobucket.com/albums/x305/BBJunks/

thanks you
ping,

Most T206 Honus Wagners have Sweet Caporal backs. Only a few have Piedmont backs. The card in the picture is a reprint.

The card in the picture is fake. Not only that, whoever made it screwed up and put a Sweet Cap "350 subjects" ad when the card only came with the "150 subjects" back. S/he tried to cover up the screw up by pasting "150" over the "350".

The pix does show a Sweet Caporal 150 back.....however, the 1st clue that belies it is a fake
is the "Factory 30" bottom line. The Wagner card was printed only with two backs.....

Ted,
Look again and see where "150" was pasted over "350"
